HLCKAE is being sustainable in every choice we make. We constantly challenge ourselves and everyone around us to push boundaries further in order to make a capsule collection in a way that is kind to the earth and to all of its inhabitants. It should be both durable and elegant. For our fabrics we are using small amounts of fabric of high quality and natural fibers, such as delicate Satin, pure premium Wool, organic Cotton, natural dyed Leather, fine suede and Lammy. As an extension of our purpose, we are constantly improving our resources and materials and the way we make our collections.
Our materials are sourced at local and European fabric suppliers. We pick small quantities for each capsule collection we make. Therefore, we seek to create as less waste as possible by producing on demand and design material driven.
Wool is a protein-based textile fiber among the oldest in the world. Wool is synonymous with coziness and warmth, but thanks to it's breathable qualities and its great thermal insulation power, it is a four-season fabric suitable in all climate conditions.
Virgin wool offers unequaled comfort and has not previously been used in manufactoring processes.
Classic, versatile elegant and comfortable, wool is ideal for the creation of longlasting garments. Preserving a familiar feeling while offering a luxurious contemporary garment is the intention or purpose this capsule collection.
Silk is a natural protein fiber and should be harvest on an ethical way. We care about nature, the planet we live in and the future of life itself. Good quality products are important to improve the quality of life. It is a very delicate and precious product where we should take care of and love for the ultimate softness which it gives back to us.
Silk is considered a symbol of luxury and elegance. It is also known as the "queen of fabrics" thanks to its natural beauty. It is discovered in ancient China, where it was reserved for use by emperors and dignitaries. The Chinese maintained a monopoly on silk production for thousands of years, exporting to Europe and the Middle East via the legendary Silk Road.
Effortless and elegant retains this product its shape and unveils the female figure. This "queen of fabrics" shimmers a brightness of its own. It is naturally hypoallergenic, is still breathable and has a good absorbency and reduces humidity, which makes it a cool product to wear during the summer and warm during the winter. It is a perfect elegant fabric to use for the look of effortless richness.
Cotton is a natural textile fiber among the most popular in the world. It is fresh, soft, ultimate comfort, easy to wear and ideal for creating a variety of garments. It is a cellulose-based fiber that grows in a boll or protective capsule, around the seeds of the mature cotton plant. Organic farming helps mitigate the climate change to lock CO2 into the soil. The process of natural cotton growth is not regulated and the fiber is stronger and therefore more flexible during production.
The organic cotton we use, is selected within the knowledge of having low impact on the environment. Cotton has many benefits, it has hypoallergenic, antibacterial and breathable qualities. Cotton gives your skin a pleasant feeling of freshness and wellbeing. It can be soft, elegant and warm or crisp, casual and cool. It is a very divers fabric ideal for designing a statement piece garment.
Within a logic of circular economy and the constant waste of materials in fashion, we chose real good quality leather by optimizing out resources. The leather skins we selected for the collection are natural dyed and one of a kind pieces.
The idea is to use already existing and high-quality materials before having to produce again. We consider the hides to be noble materials and that is why we use only the best options possible. We feel humble when we can use such a beautiful animal product within mini wardrobe. We believe in innovation towards this sustainable and circular production process.
